Indigo's Scratch Games!

Wassup? Welcome to my ever-growing collection of silly lil games programmed in the simple, block-based coding platform Scratch! These are all the project I've made in the present day, 2024 to the distant future, but if you'd like to check out all my old games I made from 2019 to 2021, nearly 6 years ago, I've got a Scratch studio dedicated to them all here!

Wait, what IS Scratch?

Oh boy, I'm so glad you asked! Basically, Scratch is a visual, block-based programming language used to teach kids from the ages of eight to sixteen how to code. People can sign up to the website for free and use the puzzle piece-like code blocks to create a bunch of fun projects and games. Scratch 1.0 was released on October 11th, 2003, and millions of users have been using the site since!

So, what's your history with Scratch?

When I was nine years old, my "dream career" at the time was becoming a video game developer the likes of Toby Fox and Notch (this was before his reputation went down the fucking drain and I obviously don't support him anymore), and one of my Cool Older Cousins (TM) who had been visiting the province recommended I make an account on Scratch, telling me about how easy it was to code your own games and share them with the world. From there, I was hooked, and I spent a good few years messing around on Scratch and seeing what I could create. While I'd lost my account for three years in 2021, that small exposure was enough to spark a passion for coding that led me to make this website!

Let's get to the GAMES!

Dress up Cobalt!

Instructions

It's Saturday, which can only mean one thing for the silly Canadian hyena with an affinity for the colour blue: Dungeons and Dragons! Only problem is, Cobalt doesn't know what to wear. Help him pick out an outfit worthy of dungeoning some dragons so they can start the day right. Click the shirt, pants, or outerwear buttons to choose a clothing item, then use space to cycle through your options, and press X to select your choice. Repeat this process until you have dressed Cobalt up however you like. Then, click the "done" button when you're finished, and presto; you've got an outfit!

Notes and Credits

Want to learn more about Cobalt? Check out his page on my Neocities website, which I coded myself! Please note that the majority of the site contains light cursing here and there, and would probably be rated PG-13.
